Skin type: Normal to dry
Today’s review is on the Vienna Coffee Body Scrub from the brand Plum Goodness. After using for some time now, I wanted to share my thoughts with you guys. So let’s begin and see how was my experience with this one. Keep on reading…
What The Brand Claims: Bean Revolution! Combining the elegance, performance and character of the austrian beauty that is vienna coffee, here’s a creamy scrubalicious delight your body has bean dreamin’ of. coffee doesn’t just wake every inch of you up in an instant but it also a pro at sloughing away dead cells and impurities making way for smooth, polished and moisturized skin. Get scoopin’, scrubbin’, smoothin’!
Packaging: Like Plum’s Body Butter, this scrub too comes in a round chubby plastic tub that is solid as well as sturdy. The brand has done a great job with the packaging of this product! It is beautiful and instantly catches one’s attention! In fact, it actually reminds me of a tub full of ice-cream! 😉
As you unscrew the top white lid, you will find a plastic stopper that needs to be removed in order to use the product. All the necessary details like date of manufacturing, use-before date, ingredient list, price and net product weight are clearly spelt out. Overall, I loved the packaging! It is stunning, sturdy as well as travel friendly. But as it comes in a tub form, you do need to dip in your fingers; that might be considered unhygienic by some.
My Experience With The Product: Plum Vienna Coffee Body Scrub is brownish in color and has a slightly thick and creamy texture. It contains Walnut shell powder and Coffee bean shell powder, both of which are excellent exfoliants. The tiny granules are finely milled in and densely packed together. The formula is very easy to work with and effectively removes dead skin cells. It is important to use this scrub gently and with a light hand, else it can feel slightly harsh on the skin. The product quantity is good and goes a long way.
The scrub leaves the skin soft, clean and thoroughly refreshed. Being a cream-based product, it does not dry out the skin and instead, leaves it soft and nourished. I feel this would best suit those with normal to dry skin and it is quick and easy to rinse off too!
Another thing I loved about this scrub is its fragrance! I have tried several coffee-based skincare products before, but they always smell more like chocolate or caramel than coffee. But Plum has done a great job here! This scrub smells exactly like the Vienna Coffee Hand Cream and is just heavenly. It reminds me of a strong cup of espresso in the morning that awakens the senses! The scent lingers on for some time, but would not bother sensitive noses. The product can be easily found on Plum’s website as well as on other online shopping sites.
