Maybelline Baby Lips Bright Out Loud, Striking Orange Review

Hi there!

Baby Lips is one of the most popular and loved brands when it comes to lip care. Today’s review on the Bright Out Loud lip balm in the shade ‘Striking Orange’. So without further ado, let’s jump right into the post and see how it fared out for me. Keep reading to find out more…

What The Brand Claims: Empower Lips and say it Bright Out Loud! Maybelline New York introduces Baby Lips Bright Out Loud with bright pigments for a bright pop of lively color. The exclusive formula moisturizes and protects lips while giving a subtle shine and color to the lips. These are infused with Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter for continuous moisture and supple smooth lips all day.

Packaging: Maybelline has done a great job with the packaging here! The product comes in cardboard cover that is vibrant as well as eye-catching. All the important details such as ingredient list, MRP, date of manufacturing, use-before date and net product weight are clearly spelt out.

The sleek retractable tube comes with a twist-up mechanism. The lip balm bullet is slanting in shape, which makes it even more easy to apply. The shade name is also mentioned at the bottom of the tube. All in all, I completely loved the packaging. It’s fun, quirky, convenient-to-use as well as travel-friendly!

Ingredient List:

Shade: True to its name, this is a coral-orange shade that provides a glossy sheen to the lips. The color can of course be built up as per one’s liking.

My Thoughts On The Product: Baby Lips Bright Out Loud, Striking Orange has a buttery smooth texture that beautifully glides on. It is a dream to work with and applies very easily. It is enriched with Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter; all of which are well-known emollients. As a result, it instantly hydrates the lips, provides them with a dose of moisture and leaves them soft, moisturized and healthy.

This lip balm has excellent pigmentation and delivers a rich color payoff. The formula is extremely lightweight and non-sticky and feels super comfortable on the lips, which for me is the best part!

Like most lip balms, it stays on for about 2-3 hours, after which it needs reapplication. Coming to the fragrance, it has a soft and refreshing peppermint scent that also provides a cooling sensation to the lips. Along with this, it also contains SPF 13 which is an added plus! The product is easily available and retails for Rs 180 for 1.9 gm.
