Colorbar 24 Carat Nail Lacquer, Antique Gold : Review, NOTD

Hello ladies!

I am back today with yet another nail paint review for you guys. This one is from the brand Colorbar and forms a part of their Arteffects range now. The shade that I am reviewing is called Antique Gold. So let’s begin and see how this one fared out for me. Stay tuned…

What The Brand Claims: A luxurious range of Golds with a Dual Chrome effect that envelopes your nails in 24 carat gold finish instantly. Replete with intense dual-shine golden pigments, this unique range allows you to experience two complementary color tones in one go. With a range of 6 shades of Gold, you are spoilt for choice and can easily find any shade of Gold that you desire.

The application is smooth, streak-free and single stroke. It leaves behind a unique almost foil-like liquid gold finish on your nails. What’s more is that the formula has an excellent drying time along with being 3-free, long-lasting, non-yellowing & chip-resistant.

Packaging: The polish comes in a glass bottle that is sturdy as well as easy to carry around. It has a golden-colored cap that looks beautiful and adds bling to the overall packaging. The size of the brush is just right and is very easy to use as well. It helps in even application of the nail color and makes it fuss-free. The shade name along with the shade number is mentioned at the top of the bottle, while the date of manufacturing is mentioned at its base.

Shade: Antique Gold is a coppery-rust shade, loaded with very fine microshimmers. It settles into a shiny finish and looks absolutely stunning on the nails.

My Experience With The Product: Colorbar 24 Carat Nail Lacquer, Antique Gold has a perfect consistency that is easy to work with. The polish applies effortlessly on the nails and dries down quickly. The brush is convenient-to-use and ensures smooth and even application of the polish. The microshimmers are very finely milled in and feel really smooth on the nails. This particular shade has a decent color payoff and goes opaque in 2-3 swipes.

Now coming to the lasting power, it stays put on the nails for about 4-5 days. However, as is the case with most polishes, this one too starts to chip off from the tips if you are into everyday kitchen chores. Removing the color is quick and fuss-free as it easily comes off with a good polish remover. It does not leave behind any stain on the nails, which is another plus! The product can be easily found on Colorbar’s website as well as in Colorbar stores.
