Skin type: Normal to dry
Some time back, I had reviewed Fabindia’s Kesar and Chandan Face Wash and today I have with me the face scrub from the same range. I have been using this for quite some time now and wanted to share my thoughts with you all. So without further ado, let’s begin and jump right into the detailed review. Keep reading…
What The Brand Claims: Made with Kesar extract and Walnut grits, this scrub deeply exfoliates the skin and helps removing excess oil, dead skin cells and impurities. It also reduces tanning, if used regularly.
Packaging: The scrub comes in a round tub packaging that feels really luxurious. As you unscrew the golden top cap, there is a white covering that needs to be removed in order to use the product. All the important information such as price, ingredient list, directions to use, date of manufacturing, date of expiry and net product weight is clearly spelt out. Overall, the packaging is absolutely stunning, but not really user-friendly. With use, the product starts getting deposited all around the mouth of the tub and becomes quite messy.
My Experience With The Product: Fabindia Kesar And Chandan Face Scrub is a cream-based product and has a runny consistency. It contains tiny exfoliating particles and beautifully spreads on the skin. It effectively does the job of exfoliation and removes all the impurities and dead skin cells. The skin instantly feels clean, smooth and refreshed and the scrub does not dry it out, which is great!
I feel this product would work best for those with normal to dry skin. Rinsing the product is also quick and fuss-free as it easily comes off in a single wash and there is absolutely no residue or slippery feeling left behind. Now coming to the fragrance, it has a soft Sandalwood scent that lingers on for some time, but nothing that would bother sensitive noses! The product can be easily found online as well as in Fabindia stores.
