New Launch: Nivea MicellAIR Skin Breathe Rose Water Face Wash-Review

Skin type: Normal to dry

Nivea India is literally on a new launch spree! The brand is coming up with new products every other week. 🙂 The product that I am reviewing today is the MicellAIR Rose Water Face Wash that forms a part of their International Range. I have been using this daily for the past couple of weeks now and wanted to share my thoughts with you all. So without much ado, let’s begin and jump right into the review. Keep on reading…

What The Brand Claims: Nivea MicellAIR Skin Breathe Rose Water removes waterproof makeup without harsh rubbing. It helps prepare the skin for a beautiful makeup application. It purifies the skin from impurities without drying it out. Cleanses thoroughly for refreshingly clean skin.

Packaging: The face wash comes in a really pretty pink colored tube that instantly catches one’s attention and feels really feminine. It has a flip-top cap that shuts tightly with a click and makes it hygienic to use as well as secure to carry around. All the important details such as manufacturing date, use-before date, price, net quantity, ingredient list and directions to use are clearly mentioned. All in all, I absolutely loved the packaging! It is beautiful, attractive as well as travel friendly!

Ingredient List:

My Experience With The Product: Nivea MicellAIR Skin Breathe Rose Water Face Wash is colorless and has a gel-based formula. It beautifully spreads on the skin and lathers up mildly. However, you will need to use extra product in order to produce a rich lather! It effectively cleanses the skin and removes all the dirt, dust and impurities along with some mild makeup. The skin feels clean and refreshed after every use and it is really gentle and forgiving on the skin.

In spite of being a gel face wash, it does not leave my skin stretchy or parched, which is great. However, out of habit, I always do follow up with a moisturizer to seal in the nourishment. Rinsing the product off is quick and fuss-free! It easily comes off in one go and does not leave behind any residue at all, which is great! I feel this product would work best for those with combination to dry skin.

Now coming to the fragrance, this face wash has a soft, soothing floral scent that I am in love with! However, it does not linger on for long and fades away quickly. The product comes in only one size as of now and can be easily found both online as well as in stores.

Do I Recommend This? Nivea MicellAIR Rose Water Face Wash has a smooth gel consistency and effectively cleanses the skin. It removes dirt and impurities and leaves the face clean and refreshed. It is gentle on the skin and does not make it dry or stretchy. Rinsing the product off is also quick and easy and the delicate floral scent is just amazing!

However, on the downside, it does not lather much and one needs to use extra product to produce a rich lather. Also, considering the fact that this is an everyday face wash, it is on the pricier side. And, it contains chemicals too!

All in all, if you don’t mind the price and the presence of chemicals, then you can definitely give this a try!
