Skin type: Normal to dry
Out of the all sheet masks that I purchased from Nykaa, till now, I have reviewed the Rose And Goat Milk and Rice And Camelia variants. And the one that I have with me today is the Almond And Yogurt one. So if you wish to know how this one fared out for me, then please keep on reading. Let’s begin…
What The Brand Claims: Enriched with a generous dose of fatty acids, Almonds seal the moisture in the skin, giving you a nourished, naturally glowing skin. While lactic acid, the main nutrient in Yogurt brings potent anti-oxidants to your skin and provides deep moisturization whilst naturally exfoliating it. These two ingredients work together to provide ultimate hydration and vitality for a revitalized and nourished skin.
Packaging: The sheet mask comes in a beautiful plastic cover that looks attractive and definitely catches one’s attention. It will fit right in your bag and is easy to carry around. As you tear open the outer cover, you will find the sheet mask inside. All the important details such as date of manufacturing, use-before date, directions to use, ingredient list and price are clearly mentioned at the back of the cover.
My Experience With The Product: Nykaa Almond and Yogurt Sheet Mask is white in color and is very soft to touch. As you can see in the pictures, it is completely drenched in serum. However, I found the sheet to be really thin! In fact, one needs to be careful while unfolding; else it can easily tear off. I simply take the mask out and put it on my face. But you do need to slightly adjust it according to the shape of your face.
I found the size and fit quite similar to the Face Shop Sheet Mask. There is also some amount of serum left behind inside the packet, that can be applied on the hands and arms. I would also like to mention here that I experienced a slight tingling sensation after putting the mask on my face, but it quickly vanished within a few seconds. As soon as you apply the mask, it provides a soothing feeling and relaxes the skin. I let it stay on till it dries out; which usually takes around 20-25 minutes. There is no need to wash your face afterwards, since the whole point is to let the goodness of the serum seep into your skin.
As soon as I remove the mask, I massage the remaining serum into my skin. The great thing about this mask is that the serum beautifully gets absorbed and does not leave behind any residue. In fact, it feels quite lightweight and comfortable, which is great! Now coming to its effectiveness, this does a good job and instantly provides a boost of hydration. As we all know that Almond and Yogurt are natural skin moisturizers, this mask leaves the skin soft, supple and thoroughly nourished. Along with this, it also removes dullness and brightens up the skin. I feel this mask would work best for those with normal to dry skin.
I personally found these better than the Face Shop ones in terms of effectiveness and results. Speaking of the fragrance, this mask has a soft pleasant scent that soothes the senses and would not bother sensitive noses at all. The product can be easily found on Nykaa’s website as well as at Nykaa stores.

Final Thoughts: Nykaa Almond and Yogurt Sheet Mask definitely delivers what it claims and imparts a boost of hydration to the skin. It thoroughly moisturizes and leaves the face soft, supple and nourished. The serum easily gets absorbed and is lightweight and non-sticky. It soothes the skin down and has a lovely soft scent too. Unfortunately, it contains alcohol, which is a disappointment!
If sheet masks work for your skin, then you should definitely go for it! In fact, I found these ones better than the Face Shop ones. But you do need to use the mask regularly for a good amount of time to notice visible results and spend 100 bucks for a single sheet every time.
