Colorbar Fruit Drop Hydrating Hand Cream Review

Hi there!

The product that I am reviewing today is from the house of Colorbar. This is their Fruit Drop Hydrating Hand Cream, that is a part of the Earth Range. Since winters are officially here, I was looking for a good hand cream. Now I had heard mixed reviews about this product and I really wanted to try it out for myself. So I bought this a few weeks back. I have been using this regularly since and wanted to share my thoughts with you all. So let’s get started and jump right into the review! Keep reading…

What The Brand Claims: Let your hands feel the power of fruit! Formulated with essential oils, and four fruit extracts, Fruit Drop contains Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Lycopene that repair the delicate skin of your hands, while protecting you from UV damage. Our travel-friendly packaging makes sure that your hands never leave their nutrition behind! No parabens. No silicones. No mineral-oils. Only nourishing love. Formulated in Italy.

Packaging: This hand cream comes in a shiny silver colored cardboard box that holds the product inside. As you open the product tube, there is a tiny foil that needs to be removed in order to use the product. It has a flip-top cap that shuts with a click and makes it secure to carry around. All the important information like date of manufacturing, price, net product weight, ingredient list and directions to use is clearly laid out both on the outer box and the tube. All in all, I really like the packaging! It’s attractive, hygienic as well as travel friendly.

Directions To Use: Apply and massage into clean hands morning and evening. Expect to see instant nourishment and continued skin texture improvement upon regular usage.

Ingredient List:

My Thoughts On The Product: Colorbar Fruit Drop Hydrating Hand Cream is white in color and has a really smooth texture. It beautifully spreads on the skin and gets completely absorbed in a jiffy. It instantly hydrates the hands and leaves them feeling smooth and moisturized. The formula is very lightweight and feels comfortable on the hands. There is no greasiness or residue left behind. In fact, you don’t really need to wait for it to get absorbed and can immediately carry on with your work.

Now coming to its effectiveness as a hand cream, I would say that it would work best for those who already have healthy hands and just need a good cream to maintain them. But if you are someone with very dry or flaky hands and are looking for a product to heal them, then this would not do much. Neither does this cream provide deep nourishment, nor does it improve the skin texture. The moisturization effect is also not long lasting and as soon as you wash your hands, the hydration is gone. Speaking of the fragrance, it has a soft pleasant scent that lingers on for quite some time. The product can be easily found online as well as at Colorbar counters.

Final Thoughts: To sum up, I would say that this is just a very basic hand cream. The texture is smooth and easy to work with. It instantly gets absorbed into the hands and leaves them smooth and hydrated. But it will work only for those who already have healthy hands and just need something to keep them hydrated.

For dry and flaky hands, this does not do much! Neither does it provide deep nourishment, nor does it improve the skin texture. Thus, it totally depends on what your hands actually need. For me personally, it did not do much and is certainly overpriced. I would not repurchase this!

Till next time,
