Colorbar Fluid Sand Nail Lacquer, Love Boat: Review

Hello beautiful!

Textured nail polishes have lately become very popular and more and more brands are coming up different versions of these. The one that I am reviewing today is the Colorbar Fluid Sand Nail Lacquer in the shade Love Boat. Here, I would like to mention that the brand recently revamped its nail polishes and this one now falls under their Arteffects Range. So let’s get into the review and see how was my experience with this one. Stay tuned!

What The Brand Claims: Feel the magic of ‘sand’ on your nails as Colorbar presents ‘Fluid Sand Nail Lacquer’. This sizzling palette promises to strike a chord with every woman. This unique look has hit Indian shores with a trendy selection of colors that bring alive the sand texture in a unique three-dimensional pattern on your nails, through a beautiful range of 8 exciting shades.

  • Special built-in plug brush protects the nail lacquer from drying fast
  • Unique flat brush for an effortless one-stroke application
  • Three-free formula-DBP, Formaldehyde and Toluene free formula
  • Non-yellowing and chip resistant

Packaging: The nail polish comes in a chubby glass bottle that looks really pretty. It has a shiny silver cap that definitely catches the eye. The shade name, along with the shade number is mentioned at the top of the bottle, while the manufacturing date along with the MRP is specified at its base. Overall, I really like the packaging! It is beautiful, sturdy as well as travel friendly.

Shade: Love Boat is a soft nude shade that just looks stunning on the nails. It is loaded with silver glitter particles and can be worn during day as well as night time.

My Thoughts On The Product: Colorbar Fluid Sand Nail Lacquer in the shade Love Boat is a textured polish and imparts a sand-like effect on the nails. It has a smooth formula that is easy to work with. In spite of being loaded with glitter, the nail polish does not feel rough or gritty on the nails. The brush is quite huge and picks up a good amount of product in one go. It covers the entire nail area properly and facilitates smooth application.

It dries down quickly and has a great color payoff. It goes opaque in 2 swipes and stays on for a good 5-6 days. But of course, like most nail paints, it starts chipping off from the tips if you are into household chores. Another thing that I loved about this product is that unlike most glitter polishes, the removal is not at all messy and the color comes off easily and quickly. Usually, I simply use my favorite Colorbar Nail Enamel Remover and the nail lacquer comes off so effortlessly! The product quantity is huge and goes a long long way. It can be easily found in Colorbar stores as well as online.
