Skin type: Normal to dry
Hope you are doing great! I am back today with a product review from the house of Khadi Natural. This is their Aloe Vera, Neem and Basil Facial Massage Gel that is aimed at preventing pimples. I have been using this for the past few years and wanted to share my thoughts with you all. For the detailed review, please keep on reading. Let’s start!
What The Brand Claims:
Aloe Vera, Neem And Basil Face Massage Gel makes skin look clean, suits all skin types and can be used as a moisturizer too & no extra breakouts.
This massage gel has anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Aloe Vera is used to effectively heal skin problems such as psoriasis, acne and eczema. Neem also clears acne, scars, pigmentation and blackheads. Basil deeply cleanses clogged pores and removes dirt and impurities.
Directions To Use: Apply in a circular motion on the face and neck. Wipe off with a moist cotton pad. Rinse with water and pat dry.
Packaging: The product comes in a see-through chubby jar packaging. Once you open the top cover, you will find a thin silver foil that needs to be teared up in order to use the product. All the important details such as price, ingredient list, net weight and directions to use are clearly spelt out. Overall, the packaging is sturdy as well as travel friendly. However, some might find it unhygienic to dip the fingers in the jar, but I personally have never faced any issue.
My Experience With The Product: Khadi Natural Aloe Vera, Neem and Basil Facial Massage Gel is greenish in color and has a very smooth texture. It effortlessly spreads on the skin and gets absorbed quickly. The formula is lightweight and non-greasy and feels comfortable on the skin. However, if you apply excess product, then of course, it feels slightly sticky. Now let’s talk about its main claim of reducing pimples. This actually works like magic! Even I was pleasantly surprised to see that it is so effective and definitely delivers results. Since I have normal to dry skin, I usually use this gel for spot correction. I avoid using it on my entire face as sometimes it causes slight dryness and a stretchy feeling. One more thing that I have noticed is that if you have very dry, broken or itchy skin, then avoid this product. Else, it would just end up making it more stretchy as well as itchy. I would definitely advise you to do a patch test first in order to see if it suits your skin.
This is a leave-on gel and you do not need to wash the face afterwards. The product quantity is huge and even if you use it everyday, it will certainly go a long way. Speaking of the fragrance, the gel has a prominent scent that seems strong initially, but vanishes as soon as you apply it. The product can be easily found online as well as in Khadi stores.
