Colorbar 24 Carat Nail Lacquer, Pinken Gold: Review, NOTD

Hello there!

Welcome back to my blog. Hope you are doing great! Today, I have a nail color review for you guys from the brand Colorbar. This is the shade Pinken Gold from their 24 Carat nail lacquer range. I have been using this for quite some time now and wanted to share my thoughts with you all. So if you want to know how this one fared out for me, please keep on reading! Let’s begin!

What The Brand Claims: A luxurious range of Golds with a Dual Chrome effect that envelopes your nails in 24 carat gold finish instantly. Replete with intense dual-shine golden pigments, this unique range allows you to experience two complementary color tones in one go. With a range of 6 shades of Gold, you are spoilt for choice and can easily find any shade of Gold that you desire.

The application is smooth, streak-free and single stroke. It leaves behind a unique almost foil-like liquid gold finish on your nails. What’s more is that the formula has an excellent drying time along with being 3-free, long-lasting, non-yellowing & chip-resistant.

Packaging: Colorbar has done a great job with the packaging of these nail colors. Like most nail polishes, this one too comes in a glass bottle that is sturdy as well as easy to carry around. It has a golden-colored cap that looks beautiful and adds bling to the overall packaging. The size of the brush is just right and it is very easy to use. It helps in even application of the nail color and makes it fuss-free. The shade name along with the shade number is mentioned at the top of the bottle, while the date of manufacturing is mentioned at its base.

Shade: As you can see in the pictures, the color Pinken Gold is a duo-chromatic shade. It appears as a copper hue with gold shimmer. And, as soon as the light hits, it appears as a pretty pink shade with a golden sheen. It looks super gorgeous on the nails and is perfect for the party season.

My Experience With The Product: The Colorbar 24 CT Nail Lacquer in the shade Pinken Gold has a perfect consistency and the applies effortlessly on the nails. The shimmers are beautifully milled and feel really smooth. There is no harshness or gritty feeling whatsoever! It dries very quickly and lasts for a good 5-6 days. But if you are someone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen or in doing household chores, then it can start chipping off from the tips in 2-3 days.

The nail color is well pigmented, but in case of this particular shade, you will need to go over 2-3 times in order to make it completely opaque. I have never experienced any yellowing of nails while using this nail lacquer. In addition, it is DBP and Toluene free as well, which is another plus! Removing this nail color is also not an issue and it easily comes off with a good nail polish remover.

Yays!
